Project Scope:

The owners original patio was constructed from low quality, short lasting pavers over a failing base. Their main objective was to replace the old pavers with high quality, sustainable, long lasting pavers with correct drainage. The patio was constructed with Belgard’s Lafitt Grana Slab pavers to add dimension and depth to their outdoor seating area. A custom built BBQ island along with seating benches constructed from Belgard’s Tandem Ashlar make this a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy the long Montana nights.

On the first visit to the site it was apparent to Wagner & Company privacy was going to be the most desired goal with the close proximity of the new homes being built on a very difficult terrain.

Project Scope:

With neighboring properties so close, Wagner & Company had to somehow create “space” all while keeping some privacy from the neighbors. Wagner began by setting key drain basins in problem areas where surface drainage would not be enough. Next a large contemporary paver patio was installed using a 24”x24” paver. A small berm retained by moss rock boulders was heavily planted to create a barrier from the neighbors. This enhanced the privacy on the patio and more trees were planted on the perimeter to further block other houses. A special selection of trees created privacy and enhanced the views of the mountain range.

Smooth plant bed lines make this large lawn simple to mow with ease. With Wagner & Companies attention to detail in design and installation, this property will thrive and enhance the beauty of the community that surrounds it.
